Very unprecise. for multitester

Not very accurate. The first one I had on the ohm scale didn't reset and I ordered a replacement but the replacement was even worse and I ended up keeping the first and sending the second back. I then tried using it in my car and it's almost useless for 12 volts as the choice is either 10 or 250 volts; at 250 the needle barely moves and since I just wanted to confirm the tension I used it on a 10 point scale and tied the arrow; Not sure how bad it is for the meter but it was the only practical fix. I like the idea of having separate selections for 1.5v and 9v batteries, but I've tested a whole pack of new 9v batteries (8 batteries) and they all only measure 8 volts. So that's pretty bad - I'm pretty sure the meter is to blame, not the batteries. I'm keeping it just in case because it's cheap and good for general continuity testing, but I can't rely on the accuracy of the readings. When measuring continuity, the needle goes well past the full scale and will not zero.
