Poor instructions, good chip

The instructions were misrepresented as mentioned by others. The cable orientation is correct in the manual, but the colors are printed upside down (black cable on top). I plugged it in first and the PWR LED didn't light up, so I figured the chip might be DOA. Luckily I didn't fry my new Pi4 or chip! I actually had to read the tiny maze at the bottom of the chip to figure out where the pin connections went and to make sure they were connected properly. It turns out that in order to navigate the Pi + cable + chip as per the instructions, the wire needs to be reversed in color (black below), and then everything will match the rest of the diagram. and now the PWR lights up on the chip. So far the basic benchmarks for GPIO seem to be working πŸŽ‰ Hope this helps! Have fun hacking πŸ‘πŸ˜
