I remember when these sets came in metal cases, not plastic cases. But as long as the case doesn't drop onto a hard surface from afar, you should be fine. I was rather disappointed with the black powder coating. Looks great when applied correctly. Misuse and your new tools will look used right away. I understand that they are put out of use because they are tools. But surely WIILDIS can control the quality better than letting the ratchet - the heart of the whole set - leave the factory the way I got it?!? Otherwise, this is exactly the set of heads I wanted to add. to my home tool bag that I am designing to get things done around the house. In 5 years I expect most sets to be looking a bit shabby. But I don't expect any of this to look like this when it's brand new, and no one else should. Solve the problem with quality control, WIILDIS.
