There are a few things about this bath rug that I like and one that I would like to improve. First, it's very soft and feels good underfoot. A thicker base would be better. On a hard floor it feels like it needs more padding to feel luxurious. I liked that the thinner base makes it easier to wash and dries faster after getting wet. I think a thicker pad, while more comfortable, is also more likely to hold water and cause mold on the back. The back is non-slip and studded with small flower-shaped dots. Mine didn't move at all, but I imagine the type of ground you have and how you step on it makes a difference in terms of slip. I don't tend to step forward on mine and kick straight down. I also like this color and look. Although it's a little "shaggy," it doesn't look too dirty or dated.
