Review on LG 34UM69G-B UltraWide Monitor: 34-Inch 2560X1080P, 75Hz, HD, Reduction by Steve Fischer

I bought this monitor mainly for my Macbook Pro. I needed something to improve performance. Secondary use for games. I have a Nintendo Switch and a PS4 to play with. I will talk about my experiences in both scenarios. Connectivity 5/5 I used a DisplayPort USB-C cable for my Macbook and an HDMI cable for my PS4/Switch to connect. It's very easy to connect to my laptop and game consoles. The monitor controls are located at the bottom center of the screen. I really like this feature for easy access. It also uses a small joystick to change settings like volume, power, input, etc. Monitor speaker 4/5 I am quite happy with the monitor speaker. I was planning to buy a soundbar but not now. I don't listen to music through this monitor speaker, but I can get away with watching lectures or some videos. If listening to music and watching videos is your primary purpose, I would suggest purchasing a soundbar with your setup for the best experience. In terms of gaming, I don't play at high volumes anyway, so I'm very happy with that aspect. Screen 5/5 This is the first time I have an LG monitor. With a refresh rate of 75, this monitor copes well with both PS4 and Switch. If you're gaming on a high-end PC, I'd suggest something with a higher refresh rate since my gaming PC has separate monitors. It really depends on what kind of player you are. I really like the colors on this panel, it's really bright and high contrast. I really like it when connected to my Macbook. I don't edit photos/videos so I can't comment on this side of the performance. I mainly use it for programming and learning when connected to my computer. It really works for me. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor! I bought it with a 100€ discount. Be sure to buy it when you have the opportunity to buy it at a discounted price.
