Review on Dorman 748-512 Rear Driver Side Power Window Motor and Regulator Assembly for Honda Models: A Reliable Solution by Mike Modesto

Cheaper OEM, maybe a little better but still bad. Our power windows failed 4 times. 2 OEM, 2 Dorman. In all cases the cable was intact and the motor fine, but the cable deviated from its intended path and jammed. The newest Dorman sounded like it was struggling to move the window once it was deployed. I think it's because the pollen has accumulated in the window's fuzzy sliding channels, causing additional friction. This friction leads to premature failure of power windows. The instructions should detail how to clean and/or lubricate the passages (I still don't know) and include the Dorman part number for the replacement, if any.
