My graphics card has multiple DP ports and only one HDMI. So I got this for my second monitor. From time to time I connect it to my TV to watch something from my computer, eventually I'll buy another one. It's very cheap and I'm not sure what buying a more expensive one will do for you because it gets the job done just fine. Just plug it in and bam. Visually, it looks exactly like the image shown: size, font, color, everything. I've been using it for over two months and have no complaints.
