I bought them for a very long time and ended up ruining one car, bought another and almost ruined this car even without great suction results. When I got the replacement machine I didn't even use it as a mop while all the time I thought the mopping function was a problem and didn't work because my first machine stopped working because of mopping. I had to change the filters every time I was moped or the dirty water just ran all over the floor. Eventually, after about two years of crappy results and not using the machine to its full potential, I got a couple of rollers that kept trimming, so I decided to order direct from bissell. In the meantime I went to Amazon to read the reviews and luckily someone mentioned it. I didn't think they would cause such trouble! The ones that come direct from bissell are very expensive but they WORK and won't break your car and you can actually use the car and get great results! I've vacuumed my house COUNTLESS times since I got the bissell filter and roller and couldn't believe the amount of hair and dirt that has come up! It just kept coming! The canister and filter are completely filled every time. I sucked again and sucked again. Moral of the story: spend money and buy the bargain directly from bissell! Otherwise you will spend a lot of money to replace these cheap junk pieces, your car and house will still be dirty.
