I had a breast reduction and had to wear a compression bra 24/7 for the first week (except showers). I wanted to have a spare bra or two so I could wash the one I was sent home in after my surgery as I had a lot of discharge and wanted to wash it daily. I needed something that offered support and compression and this bra didn't do either. He was too stretched out and doing nothing. In fact, it was more painful to wear than the tight bra from the surgeon's office as it offered no support or compression. The size was also MUCH smaller. Judging by their size, I should have bought the medium. I ended up buying the large first because I was afraid it would be too small. Well, even the big one was too small to close properly. The straps didn't adjust easily and the fabric was thinner than some of the cheap bras I've bought at Walmart. I reordered the size XL but they were almost unusable. It was like a bathing suit with no support. I send them all back and just bite the bullet and pay double the price for something from a real bra store.
