Review on Wagner BD60356 Premium Brake Drum by David Thomley

Parts imbalance

Installed two FM/Wagner BD60356 rear drums on my GM 3500 Dual. The rear vibration was so severe it couldn’t get past 50 mph. Removed all 4 rear tires and cranked the truck's rear axle/drum assembly to 65 mph with A LOT of static and dynamic motion. Had to have the rear drums replaced at the shop and it took 3 additional drums to get a pair of barely acceptable drums. One of them was actually 26 ounces off balance and was kicked out of the box. I had to spend a lot of money to make these Chinese parts acceptable. Wagner has a problem in his manufacturing process. I have contacted FM/Wagner regarding this and requested a refund for the duplicate payment. More information will be released once my request has progressed through the appropriate channels. .If I had to do it again I wouldn't accept the Chinese part and would go to GM for pre-balanced replacements.
