Great counter for the home but all functions are not accurate

I work as an industrial bench technician. Bought this meter for home use. This counter has received great reviews and I mostly agree. I took it to work and tested it on our pro gear. AC and DC functions are accurate. I got several different capacitor values and tested their performance. It doesn't show a ceiling below 3uF (which I tested) while 1uF is shown on the display. It reads that difference down to about 27uF, which is more accurate. I have a Sencore cap tester on my workbench that I've compared the readings to. Note: Just make sure you discharge the cap before testing. Applied voltage can impair the function of the lid. Next. I used our frequency generator and tested the HZ function. It was right. I then took different resistors and tested them with my Fluke 77iii. The readings were very close. I have not tested the functions of the AC/DC amplifier. The diode function is accurate and has a beep function when you need a beep. The backlit display only lights up briefly. Somewhere 4-5 sec. All the tests I've run haven't given me instant readings like my Fluke. It takes about 3 or 4 seconds for a reading to register on the display. Ultimately, I would recommend this meter to anyone looking for a meter for home use. It's also great value for money as the cables themselves, when purchased separately, cost more than a full meter. It also has an 18-month warranty. Happy MeteringImportant InformationSeller's Warranty Description18 Months US Basic Warranty
