great that it comes with alligator clips priced at

works, great that it comes with alligator clips priced at 0.00 voltage. nice and compact, cheap, would buy 5 more. You have to tap very hard for the pass tone to work. cold soldering? That annoys me a lot. It's too late for Revane to go back. bitter. But for the price. I do not know. you might want to. Com and get the same for $1. Or port freight

Pros
  • . High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons

If you don't read at all, you'll get a refund.

Worked well for DC A and impedance but not DC mA. If you connect it across the correct pins (common and right mA) it will sense polarity but will not register any current and the circuit will not complete. Switch on A and left pole, works fine. The 250mA fuse is confirmed as OK, measured at 0 ohms. Tested with a simple ardunio 5V output circuit on a 330 ohm resistor and an LED. I don't know what's going on, but I'm getting a refund. Spring. Two stars because it at least helped me remember the…

Inaccurate and short lived

I liked this gauge at first but after about 1.5 years it started giving insane readings. I thought it was the battery but that wasn't the problem. I used my old master meter and was able to get good readings. My spouse always says "buy cheap, buy twice." I don't like to leave reviews immediately after purchase, I usually give them a little time to see how well the product is holding up, but this one doesn't . I actually bought two of these because I really liked them. Both gave me the same…

Multimeter for all times. Precise and cheap

This was a gift for my father, a professional avionics engineer and avid homemaker. It replaces a model with comparable specs but around 50 times more expensive. I tested it after receiving it and it feels good in my hand. Not too heavy, but not too light either. Accuracy was excellent compared to other reference instruments. I like that the buttons aren't too small for only small hands to work, but anyone can do it. Can't say I know much about the Neoteck brand, but they seem to have nailed…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!

You get what you pay for. Just buy the Fluke

I'm a little sorry I bought this. It just feels very cheap in the hand, but it was cheap. I work in a professional shop and am used to using $200 gauges that I borrow from other techs. Works fine for $30. It really stunned me the first time I took it out of the box and set it to constant voltage and it showed random millivolt readings everywhere. What I've read online says it's fine, although somewhat because there isn't a good chipset that filters out over-the-air interference or something…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • No Instructions

Great for Home Use: Multi Tester

I've had this for over a year now and can't remember why I originally bought it. This was useful from time to time to check for electrical problems with the electronics. Has many features that I probably won't use. This is a great meter for home use but I'm giving it 3 stars because I wanted to use a capacitance test to test a known working capacitor to see if it's good but I couldn't get readings from it. The display only showed OL. Other reviews have mentioned this as well. Also, the…

Great counter for the home but all functions are not accurate

I work as an industrial bench technician. Bought this meter for home use. This counter has received great reviews and I mostly agree. I took it to work and tested it on our pro gear. AC and DC functions are accurate. I got several different capacitor values and tested their performance. It doesn't show a ceiling below 3uF (which I tested) while 1uF is shown on the display. It reads that difference down to about 27uF, which is more accurate. I have a Sencore cap tester on my workbench that I've…

Good multimeter and great customer service

I seem to look far too often for my trusty CircuitMate DM25, a multimeter from Beckman Instruments that I've owned for more years than I can remember. Last time I left it to my brother in law when I really needed it. So I decided it was time to buy another counter so I had a better chance of having it on hand when needed. After researching a bit about the options available at Revain, I decided to order this Neotech model. I mainly use AC, DC, resistance and the audio continuity function as most

Pros
  • Fits me perfectly
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
