The original metal rollers on my garage door sill worked, but they were LOUD! My attached garage sounded like a space shuttle launch with the original metal rollers! Replacing them with XiKe zz Blue nylon rollers made a HUGE difference! Replacing all 10 (on a standard door) can take 15 minutes, but it's worth the effort! The noise cancellation is amazing! The smooth running is also convincing. Let's see how they hold up over time. We're by the sea, so we'll be curious to see how they perform in these conditions. When changing rollers, take some "workshop grease” with you and lubricate the pivots and pulleys and the torsion spring, if equipped. DO NOT lubricate the bar itself or this (or any other) roller surface. The reels must spin! These new rollers and newly lubricated hinges will take your garage door to a new level of smoothness and quietness! These rollers are a great addition to your regular garage door maintenance!
