Much better than the original videos

If you are in the garage, these videos are not audible. My original videos were hard plastic and I could listen to them at home. I did not bend the rails to install the casters. I used a ratchet to remove the reel seats one at a time as described in another comment here.

GREAT garage door rollers!

One of the best DIY projects I've ever done. They run clean, smooth and quiet as advertised. They look like they'll last a lifetime right out of the box. I have a wooden garage door that weighs two meters and is two meters wide. As a precaution, clear the tracks first. Install the top four casters with the door facing down. The latter, together with the door, held it firmly in the UP position; Install the lower rollers as the bracket that holds these rollers is attached to the cable. {The cable

Easy installation. quality product.

My new garage door rollers arrived at 3pm. At 4:30pm I decided to replace the steel rollers with these new ones. Easy install and I was done by 5:15pm. I recommend not bending the rails to replace, but starting from the top and removing the reel mounts. I was able to tighten all the screws and bolts and even add a few more by moving from top to bottom. A spring balancer is attached to the bottom bracket of my door. To do this I raised the gate as high as possible and disconnected the gate from…

Quiet, no frills, solid construction

They arrived quickly with the Prime. I installed them on my door in about 30 minutes. Check out the videos on YouTube, the bottom wheels need to be done with the door halfway up. Before removing the wheel attachments, check the cable tension on the door sides. Once you've swapped the bottom wheels, close the door and do the rest. There's no tension on the other wheels at this point. Just DO NOT bend the rails. This leads to an excessive load on the rail system. Don't bend the tracks like some…

It took a long time for that!

I replaced one door with a set of these and compared them to a second door that had solid metal casters and the difference between day and night is obvious. As soon as I made the first door I ordered another set for the second door and I believe it arrived the next day. Really very cool wheelset, super quiet and very smooth-running. I highly recommend this set. Each door took about 30 minutes or so. Just remember that the bottom wheels on each side will hold the load, so you need to make sure…

Wow. Great videos!

The original metal rollers on my garage door sill worked, but they were LOUD! My attached garage sounded like a space shuttle launch with the original metal rollers! Replacing them with XiKe zz Blue nylon rollers made a HUGE difference! Replacing all 10 (on a standard door) can take 15 minutes, but it's worth the effort! The noise cancellation is amazing! The smooth running is also convincing. Let's see how they hold up over time. We're by the sea, so we'll be curious to see how they perform in

Pros
  • Durable Test Results
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Easy installation for building materials

Rolls arrived within a day of ordering and were exactly as described. In addition to the manufacturer's video, several different installation videos were viewed on the Revain order page. There were many options for the overall installation and especially for safely replacing the rollers on the bottom bracket as the cable connected is under high tension. One of the best recommendations I've seen was to just lift the door all the way up and check the cable for tension or slack. When I got to the…

Very nice video. I had to adjust the track after installation.

The photo shows how worn the old 15 year old nylon rollers on my garage door are. They are worn both in width and in height. These new Xyte rollers were thicker and taller, so once installed, my garage door jammed slightly, which was indicated by the 2/3 mark popping up. It actually took me a few days to figure out why. I lubricated everything, tightened all pivot pins, adjusted the chain, etc. Then I found that the rollers in the chain slide very little in the down position, so bind. I slid…
