Case assembled, excitedly powered on to test. My Logitech F710 wireless controllers that used to work around the house now only work within 2-3 feet of the Pi. There is a warning in the box that "USB 3.0 may affect 2.4GHz WiFi". Well I haven't used USB 3.0 for anything. The key was inserted into the USB 2.0 slot on the front panel. This is also referred to as "USB 1.0β in the instructions. Regardless, something on their board is blocking 2.4GHz signals and they blame the USB 3.0 concept. The excuse is complete nonsense. I ordered a pair of 8bitdo bluetooth controllers, I hope this partially solves the problem. I'm not happy with my purchase considering it cost me an extra $80 for the controllers. ***** UPDATE ***** I did some tests today and with the top case completely removed everything works fine. When the top case is on and the SSD USB 3.0 cable is connected, neither Bluetooth nor 2.4 GHz wireless works. When I unplug the USB 3.0 SSD cable, Bluetooth works fine. Something is VERY broken in this SSD interconnect board. The supplied thermal foam also does not work at all. It is absolutely necessary to update it with better things. I had constant thermal throttling until the replacement.
