I found this easy to deal with. This requires twisting until the turns of the screw are gone. Pulling up and wiggling the cork is part of the process. However, this is my favorite design. Rivets are not durable. Unfortunately, the shoulder rivets are key to this feature. The photo shows how it comes out. I plug it back in and it works. Unfortunately all 3 times. If you get over that and don't mind adding this piece back. I don't know, I would recommend it to everyone. I'm patient and I can fix anything. But I also don't think you have to fix things all the time.
