Used as a seal for front doors in an old house where a traditional seal would not work. I'm not usually a big fan of self-adhesive materials, but they stick quite well and we hope they last a long time. However, it is very important to thoroughly clean the substrate before applying this or any other self-adhesive sealant. The silicone bottle is hollow and thin enough to keep air out without putting much pressure on the door. We've significantly increased comfort in the foyer (it's gotten a lot warmer) where these doors are located.
