First of all, I have used the Control Company Traceable 5000 Timer in my laboratory for many years. love everything about it Counts up, counts down, three independent channels. Continuous. Loud enough to be heard over the rumble of pumps, agitators, agitators and the occasional AC/DC tune on the stereo. I ordered a new timer for another lab. The controlling company sent the picture, noting that it was a temporary replacement. I spoke to the control company on the phone and was told that 'their management' had made the decision to package the replacement in a box of 5000 as the 5000 are currently unavailable due to manufacturing issues; They will not replace this timer with the correct one once the production issue is resolved. The replacement is a cheap kitchen timer. I called all my lab equipment suppliers to see if I could get 5000. They also have a cheap kitchen timer. The control society should fix it. Terrible.
