They go well with my 85 3/4 ton 454 2WD. The standard beds require you to drill a few rivets, but it's not that difficult. They fit bedchairs much better than standard rubber and keep things in place. Tip #1 - Use a large punch to line up the mounting holes when inserting the motor. Helpful Tip #2 however: Do not tighten the gearbox mounting bolts until you are certain the cross member hole is aligned with the hole (c) in the underside of the bracket. I was spending about 20 minutes moving the cross member and stretching the bracket to fit when I noticed that there was still enough adjustment left in the bolts that attach the bracket to the gearbox. :) But what I learned is that the standard rubber mount had a lot of play, and not only are these things *really* durable, but they move just enough to absorb vibration while maintaining control. I would also like to point out that I have had to call Energy Suspension twice for things (that were not their fault) and they have always had the best customer service. This company tops the list of the best places to work in the automotive industry.
