I love these bulbs because they add just the right accent to any wood decor. The bulbs themselves appear to be made out of cheap plastic, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. This makes them lightweight so they don't weigh branches down and still feel very strong. Even after some of them fell, they showed no damage. They are fairly medium sized and look good on any full sized tree. I don't think I would recommend them for under 3'. The set also includes a silver thread that can be tied around each bulb for hanging. I am very happy with them and would consider buying more to do a complete tree look with just them.
