Review on Waterproof and Carwash Safe Silver Paint Pen for Car Tires - Tire Ink (1 Pen) by Justin Zilinskas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not bad at all for what it is.

First of all, my Acura Legend 95 is a typical car that doesn't have white writing on the tires. However, I go to a lot of car meetings and people tell me that the tire ink makes my Legend a little more noticeable/brighter. Not a bad product when used properly and puts a slight smile on your face when looking at an old car after doing an utterly tedious job. Bottom line, the Tire Ink Pen gets the job done. It's not perfect and to be honest I really have no idea what can be done to make a better fountain pen. I repeat. It is SUPER important to clean the letters with acetone before painting the letters, otherwise you will notice chipping very quickly, for example when driving in the rain. Pen ejects ink. At first they will hardly leak after you follow the instructions and then you will know they are leaking. If you can solve this problem, tire ink pen will have no competition in this market. ** * I repeat that you must erase your tire letters before applying the pen.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Very expensive
