Firstly, if you are looking for quality clamps for use in critical, high pressure or extreme conditions, you don't need them. If you are looking for clamps for use in non-critical, medium to low pressure environments, look no further than this set. They are excellent for a variety of clamping needs in diameters 1 1/2 in. and under. I had no problem removing the gears and can apply enough torque to make the seals. A useful set of inexpensive clips for the right applications.
