Review on Norpro Nonstick Pancake Rings Piece by Jess Gunderson

I really like this item but I can't give it 5 stars because the handle has melted. I mean it's plastic on metal that needs to be heated. The handle should be metal and comfortable to the touch so that it can be handled without burns. The first time I used it to make two pancakes for my little one it was great. The second time I used it on a pan was to cook about 6 pancakes in our pan on the stove and noticed the plastic handle felt very hot making it awkward to use. The rest of the rings work as they should. I love that you have the option to use just 1, 2 or all 4 rings. Our skillet perfectly holds 2 rings with a handle, 3 without (since the second half of the skillet has grooves for bacon frying and grilling). But now that the handle has melted my husband is looking for a way to make it easier for me to remove the rings during cooking.
