They fold fairly well and have a lip at the top. They are incredibly strong, they don't even bend when squeezed. Each of them is still fairly easy. I hope I'll still have them in twenty years. Below is the ink manufacturer's brand. They are marked as 18/8 (stainless steel type). Obviously they don't keep things cold or warm. Cold drinks create a lot of condensation outside and I won't even try anything hot. Oh, and for those who don't know, don't heat metal objects in the microwave unless you want to break the microwave and/or set something on fire. Earlier I bought another pair of metal glasses from an Indian grocer, even thinner and without the folded rim at the top. They stacked very close together and "sucked" each other so you couldn't pull one out of the stack - it's definitely easier, but a little less compact. Overall I prefer these.
