I got rid of all my old etched glasses. When I replaced them with these I had 75% more space as they fold very tightly. Besides, it makes drinking stainless steel ice water much more fun for kids and adults. They are easy to clean right down to the edge. The rim is easy to clean, but always holds water and needs to be dried again in the dishwasher after washing.

So if you immerse them in water or put them in the dishwasher, the rolled rim will leak. They are fairly thin stainless steel, lightweight to stand on their own but filled well. The size is ok. The rim that is leaking old water is out of order. You can shake them, dry them and put them away. After 2 days you take one out of the closet and before you fill it you notice that water (or something else) is pouring out of the rim. Should I caulk them or send them back?

They fold fairly well and have a lip at the top. They are incredibly strong, they don't even bend when squeezed. Each of them is still fairly easy. I hope I'll still have them in twenty years. They are not 100% high quality stainless steel and due to Vancouver Island's humidity they have some rusting on the outside (just a few spots). There appears to be some contamination in several places on each beaker. To be honest I would have bought it anyway, that's hardly a deal breaker. I was hoping to replace all our mugs with these as we are now fully renovated but the lack of insulation defeats the purpose of these mugs. You sweat profusely and the ice melts as quickly as in ordinary cups. I asked the seller if they can be washed in the dishwasher and they told me yes, but after a few cycles in the dishwasher they start to turn a brownish-rusty color on the bottom in the cup. I've had guests tell me my cup is dirty which just makes me look like a bad hostess.
