Moen products are generally of excellent design and very high quality. It doesn't live up to that standard. In construction, this recycling is a high value unit. The design is terrible. The collar that fits in the sink is too small for a grown man to put his hand in. This means that there is no practical way to get an object out once it is possessed. If the object can be attracted to a magnet, you can use a magnet on a stick to remove a steel bottle cap, for example. If the recycled item is plastic or glass, the disposal must be removed to preserve the item. And that is unacceptable. This is an absurd burden for the user.
