Bought this specifically to fix a plastic part I couldn't find anywhere. I was so desperate that I thought I might have to get into 3D printing. I saw this stainless mesh thermoplastic repair and thought it might be worth a try. Watched the video and started the repair. It went well and did as advertised, looked good, strong and I hoped. It didn't work on the second use. It was all over the place because of the plastic part which was supposed to cost around 0.50 but isn't sold separately. You have to buy a unit for 200.00+ to fit which I ended up having to do. I have not given up on this product as I am sure I will find other uses for it. Just remember that this is not a panacea.
