All the necessary preparatory work done, sanded, attached with a cloth, etc. Normally melted. BUT after a while, after getting wet, it immediately came off. Complete garbage!

We used this product to repair a kayak that had been pulled over concrete and worn to the point of cracking, resulting in a leak. We have never welded plastic before but found it very easy. Stainless steel mesh was used to add strength and durability to the weld. Good product!

The reason I give these 2 stars is because I order 3 packs. I only received 2 stainless steel grilles. The description says 2 grids for the price they show. So if I order 3 packs I should have gotten 6 in total, also the meshes are very small.

Received on time, the product was nice and pliable. I dropped my 18 volt drill and it broke in half at the base of the handle just above the battery. So I used this shield to provide extra support for applying the epoxy while safely repairing the handle back onto the drill bit.

Needed when you weld plastic. It's all about whether it works or not. It works. It's easy to cut with scissors but I would suggest using an old pair or utility knife as it dulls the knife with frequent use. Once cut they are very easy to shape. I used this on a fresh water tank for a corner and it worked fine. I would recommend.

Bought this specifically to fix a plastic part I couldn't find anywhere. I was so desperate that I thought I might have to get into 3D printing. I saw this stainless mesh thermoplastic repair and thought it might be worth a try. Watched the video and started the repair. It went well and did as advertised, looked good, strong and I hoped.
