Review on 💾 HGST Ultrastar He10, HUH721010ALE600 (0F27452) - 10TB SATA 6.0Gb/s 7200 RPM HDD - Enterprise Grade, Renewed by Mike Roberts

I bought about 30 of these drives in two separate batches for some servers at my manufacturing facility. These servers are running hot spare RAID 5 so they have a little cover for me in case of a failure. I was VERY skeptical about this purchase as refurbished rims can mean just about anything. most of it is not good. After receiving these discs (which were well packaged), I certified each and every one. They all passed. I checked the SMART status which was fine. A different diagnostic was used to show the usage hours, which showed 0. All drives were February 2018. They look brand new. I'm about a month old now and so far so good. The disks hum and do everything I can ask of them. If they last 3 years, it will be a big hit. Unless. Bought spare parts just in case. I phoned the seller and they answered all my questions, very easy to work with them. Let's see how it goes.
