Review on Xuron 485C Combination Shear Plier by Billy Berry

I love these wire bender pliers. Super comfortable grip, very hard steel. At first I thought they looked flimsy compared to other needle nose pliers, but that's because they use a higher quality material. The hinges have virtually no play, even when twisted sideways to flex. The tailors are great too. No visible deformation of the knives, even after cutting project staples (approx. 16-18 gauge). I used some cheap unnamed Chinese pliers that broke after five minutes with staples, so it's a nice change. Even the spring feels solid, with just enough pressure to hold it open without much resistance.
