I think I'm in the minority using them in my earlobes, I seem to be developing a metal allergy. For under $10 this was a great deal. Gems are SO tiny; Be careful when you put them on. They are very cute but I have found that they can slip through my piercings as they have become slippery from the shower shampoo. Comfortable to sleep on, very light and the gems fit snugly into the pad and hold surprisingly well. I was just surprised by the size, even my little fingers struggled with it at times. But they sparkle!
