Fantastic product. I did cross stitch as a kid and wanted something to make my life easier, a simple design so I could focus on learning new stitches and techniques and it was PERFECT. The pattern is printed perfectly and matches the holes in the fabric. So there is no question which color goes where. There is a symbol chart on the fabric itself which is included in the instructions so you know exactly which yarn to use. The kit contains two needles. The threads MUST be split, they come in bundles of 6 threads (like most threads) but are light enough to split in half for an 11ct pattern. I had more than enough thread to complete the pattern. My only concern was how stiff the fabric would be. At the exit of the package it is so hard that it doesn't even look like fabric, rather plastic and rough. However, the more I worked with it and moved it around, the softer and more pliable it became, so by the end of the project it was as stretchy as any other fabric and I was able to make a beautiful decorative pillowcase out of it. Delivered faster than expected - it was on my doorstep exactly two days after I ordered it. Yes, the color washes off the image well. It took a little while (about 45 minutes) to hand wash everything thoroughly but thoroughly and wash off the colors of the pattern completely, but as long as you're patient you shouldn't have any problems.
