Exactly what I needed at the right price. I have a KVM switch that allows me to switch back and forth between a Mac and a Windows 10 computer. Use the same mouse, keyboard and monitor and I wanted to add a speaker that can also work from the switch so I don't have to have TWO sets of speakers on the desk or connect a Bluetooth speaker back and forth (more buttons to press ) . Because of this, I needed a USB CONTROLLED speaker, not just USB powered. Most of the speakers I found were only USB powered and relied on a separate audio jack for the audio part. NOT THIS BAD BOY! It's just one cable, USB, and it works with both my MAC and Windows 10 computers, switching back and forth just fine. Even has volume controls and a mute button on the device for quick access (but also works with built-in Mac and Windows 10). software control). And they are also stereo. The sound quality isn't bad (you will of course find better sound quality for a lot of money), but for my needs (regular computer/YouTube/etc) this is a great little speaker.
