As someone who enjoys cooking in a smokehouse and loves the right taste of brisket, I had to use a thermometer with a remote sensor. My previous one chose to ditch one of the sensors and this one was an upgrade as I could get readings on my phone and didn't have to keep the remote sensor nearby. Accuracy is good. My only complaint is that the app is really annoying when I have to go out of range. The range is great, but when I have to walk across the street or run to the store, the disabled alarm is quite annoying. There is an exit throughout the house, in the garage, even in the yard. It just doesn't go any further. In this case you will have to reconnect and your history will be lost. They work great, battery life is good, accurate and easy to use.
