(Wife writing)I've never owned one of these, so I'm not judging based off on any experience. The softness of these masks is great. However, I've noticed 2 things.1. The strap has started irritating the back of my head and has caused my hair to become pretty tangled up in one spot. I have a lot of hair so this hasn't been pleasant to deal with! I'm sure if you sleep with your head turned all night or on your side you may not experience this as much. And maybe all masks do this. Either way I don't like it.2. I can still see some light on the bottom part of the mask, if my eyes are opened. It's obviously kind of hard to open your eyes with it on and counter productive. But just know they aren't 100% blackout.Overall I think the purchase was one that I don't regret. For the price, they are worth it. Just some things to keep in mind before purchasing.
