Just received today. If you have powered devices, in my case that is a gamepad. You need an external power supply. They don't supply a cable or the right voltage for an external power supply. I needed it now, of course I asked her. Couldn't wait for an answer. Pulling out the voltmeter, I found that the correct voltage was 4.5 volts. Which, unlike most people, not only had the right size adapters, but also a multi-voltage power supply. So after all that, the device powers my gamepad and a few other drawing devices at higher voltages. Did I have what I need from the company or the correct voltage listed on the page here outside of the package? no It feels solid and I like the flat, flat cable (which doesn't go all the way into the connector). In addition, I could hardly adjust my external voltage adjustment to the device due to the placement next to the USB port. Like I said, I just had the right things on hand. If you don't store cables like me, this device probably isn't for you to adapt to higher voltages. It works great with a backlit keyboard and mouse, and could power a high-end laptop pedestal fan (however, it ran at about half speed on reduced power). #1 The company must include the voltage required to operate the device in the description. @2 The power cord must be provided by the company. #3 You need to move the power cord tray away from the USB cable connector.
