At first I was skeptical and I didn't like that this soft side drawer didn't have bars at the top and bottom and I was worried that it keeps its shape. Once the zip is fully closed, this box keeps its shape perfectly and I appreciate its light weight. I am currently using a medium sized cage for a Chihuahua. I could get a small cage but was hoping my chihuahua could fit in here and I could take him upstairs to my home office so they can be with me while they work from home. One cage is fine for this, but Chihuahuas don't want another caged at the same time. However, I can easily wear it up during the day and down again at night. One of my rescued Chihuahuas was severely neglected and emotionally traumatized as a result. He loves this cage as his safe place. I love that the sides can be rolled up, exposing the side mesh, allowing light to enter from both sides. The only thing you might want to get by with is a small carabiner so you can pull both zippers together if your furling is smart enough to unzip the zipper from the inside.
