This is by far the best retractable selfie stick
Very light, very strong. Follow the instructions on the extension nuts - no Herculean force is required to loosen or tighten them. The pen floats! I would still use some sort of floating pad just to be safe and actually find your GoPro if you drop it in the water! ;) However, if you are looking for something similar, I would definitely recommend it.
