I originally gave the scooter 2 stars because (see below) the steering wheel broke right away. However, customer service was great and they sent a new one. I'll update again in a while if the new one holds up better. So far, so good. I hope it was just an accident. Another update, I bought my daughters ages 7 and 9 scooters from two different brands because they were the right colors - pink and purple. But my girls insist they like their brothers scooters better and I'm returning them because my girls want the wheels to spin faster and the deck to be lower and wider than this one. If this scooter was only in color I would order two more! My boys actually prefer black so that's actually a plus for my son. First review: The steering wheel broke on the first day. It was a birthday present for a child with special needs who has a prosthetic leg and cannot ride a bike. He needed a stable 3 wheel scooter so I thought this might help. I hope this was an accident and that others don't have the same problem. The tilt instead of the steering also took some getting used to. The glowing wheels definitely impressed him.
