I moved into the wilderness this year and am currently living in what is the best description of a log home of sorts. I also took my 40" Samsung flat screen. The walls here are paneled in faux wood, and with a gas fireplace in the center of our living room, there wasn't room for my favorite modern gadgets. This mount saved my sanity. As with all of the other reviews, you see yes we had to buy different screws to hold the wall mount it's not expensive and it's not a big deal both of us were able to install the TV in minutes and I'm still waiting for the bracket to come out of the wall cheap wall and the TV falls into oblivion on the colorful fluffy carpet everything is holding up great.Turns perfectly with the outdated furniture we sit on in the room and stretches out nicely when we're having a turkey in the kitchen fry my friend shot a few days ago my god this tv is all i have to communicate with the outside world and this ber g made it possible. i love you mount never let go
