I have a tower air cooler/swamp cooler - looks like they don't even carry it anymore and have replaced it with another/newer one that is better is working . I was disappointed that it doesn't oscillate back and forth very far - not even as close as a regular oscillating fan. and the new one they replaced says it runs 90* so that would be much better. I'm also frustrated that I can't remove the water tank to dump the old water into the sink and fill it with new, fresh, cold water. I didn't know about it. Who can lift this thing to drop it? Maybe that's why they changed it to a newer, different style and it's not mentioned anymore. The sad thing is that this one costs more than 2.5 times more than the new improved version. If only I had waited a month! But I took this thing up 4 stories and put it together - so it will do. and it's attractive. Today is my first day of using it, so far the air seems a bit cooler - I'll know more as the day progresses and warms up. But I have a question for anyone who has the same model, the temp gauge goes blank after about 5 minutes. Is there a way to keep it on so that it stays on and shows up all the time, how do you know? out ? Thank you 😊
