Review on 📀 Plextor PXL-910S Professional Internal SATA DVD/CD Writer Drive - Bulk Pack (Acumen Disc Edition) by Andre Noel

This is a very good and efficient DVD-R/W drive. Plextor makes very good DVD drives and this one is no exception. However, when they say "bare disc," they really mean it. I was expecting the drive to come with at least a cardboard sleeve or bubble wrap or something else to protect it during transit. But no, it just came in a clear polypropylene plastic bag and was in a shipping box with other items I ordered. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that. Luckily, the other items I ordered weren't very large, and the box they used to ship them provided adequate support for this drive. However, be aware that depending on what else you order and/or ship with your disc, this could result in the disc being severely damaged in transit. Overall I'm very happy with this drive, and a "bare drive" is fine if that's all you need - no need to pay extra for the cute retail packaging. I already had the SATA cable that came with the motherboard and the mounting screws that came with the computer case. That works great.
