Spectrum-supplied cable modem installed in new condo after multiple false starts; The wireless router they provide is never installed; Anyone need a doorstop? Don't worry because I ordered this device. First an Ethernet cable connection to a Spectrum cable modem, then a Samsung device that can be easily installed as a wireless router by following the instructions that come with it. It took a little trial and error to get the Z-Wave feature to work. I'm using Smartthings and their app listed the new WiFi router as a device. I had to play around with this device in the application to find and run the Z-Wave function. I use a 3rd generation Samsung hub in our main building and I am basically satisfied. This new hub in the home seems to have even fewer errors activating/deactivating devices. Also, this may just be a much smaller area of the home. It's been working for a month, even without a reboot. PS The Samsung Smartthings app's ability to allow the user to independently control individual locations within the same app also works. really good.
