Attaching Arrows

This is accurate and inexpensive, but it needs a little more guidance to attach thin arrows. 1) Attach the movement to the dial making sure it is in its final position so no further rotation is required. 2) Gently place the hour hand with your fingers on the clock stem at the 12 o'clock position, but do not press down. 3) Take the crescent wrench and open it just enough to allow the clock stem to pass from the side so the sides of the lugs are in contact with the top of the hour hand socket. 4) Push the side of the crescent wrench away from the mechanism so the hour hand bushing presses against the clock stem. This does not affect the sensitive hour hand, but the hub can be pushed onto the shaft with a little force. Set the wrench aside. 5) When setting the time on the movement, make sure that the hour hand at 12 o'clock is pointing straight up. 6) Set the minute hand to the 12 o'clock position by gently placing your fingers on the minute shaft without pressing it down. 7) take WRENCH; it should be closed a little more so that the thinner tiny chopstick just fits through the gap in the cheeks. 8) Repeat step 4 but for the minute hand instead of the hour hand. 9) Set the time by setting the wheel movement time (do not press directly with your hands!).
