Well I hooked up this amp. It replaced the RF Prime 500.1. two 10-inch Cerwin Vega 400rms subwoofers are mounted. With a resistance of 2 ohms, that's 900 RMS at 2 ohms. Prime sounds better for these subwoofers. These subwoofers can't handle true 400W RMS, or the highs just sound cleaner or match these subwoofers perfectly. I have a 12 inch Skar that is rated at 1000W RMS. I'll hook it up to see how it behaves at 1 ohm. I love Cerwin Vega for perfect bass response. Clean and strong hit. Not an spl subwoofer but an sq subwoofer. So my heyday will return.
