So the addendum shows this bike rack on the body of an SUV. The instructions say not to use on rough roads. I would give it 4 to 5 stars if the hitch adapter wasn't cheap plastic that allowed the post to jump at least 6 inches. There is also no way to lock the post to move it. The movement that worries me is the wear on the pin that needs to be removed to fold down the strut when opening the sunroof or tailgate. against sitting on 5 wheels. I removed the full metal hitch adapter from it and attached it to this bike rack and now it's hanging tight on the car. If they put in a good metal adapter instead of a cheap plastic one that would be great.
