Review on ❄️ Apex Automotive Winter Windshield Cover: All Vehicles Snow & Ice Shield - No More Scraping! Windproof Magnetic Edges, Frost Guard! by Sam Simone

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not just for the windshield. However, not long enough for the Honda Insight.

I bought two because I plan to install one on the tailgate and also on the windshield. Actually, the hatchback is easier to drive than the windshield on my car! The cover that covers the front wipers hangs from the tailgate and covers the bottom of my Honda Insight's tailgate window, which I wasn't sure would fit or not. the top of the sunroof next to the hinge to prevent the top magnets from loosening when partially closing the sunroof to make final adjustments before fully closing the sunroof. This eliminates many of the problems of attaching the magnets. The only problem I keep encountering is that the middle two magnets never touch metal because the bottom valve is at least 5 inches shorter on both the front and rear of my Honda Insight. This allows the wind to whip up the lids and sometimes lift the outer magnets, causing the bottom to flap in the wind. As a result, frost can form on the windshield and shine through in the folds, and covers can easily freeze to the windshield, and snow can also blow under the raised edge. It sounds like a loud zipper when I open it carefully. For this reason I had to downgrade my rating from 5 to 4 stars. I plan to fix this myself by ordering another to cut strips to extend the bottom flaps of both by about 6 inches with my sewing machine.
