Review on 🍴 Optimized Steel Cutlery: Winco Acero by Maria Cochran

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Decent quality, good value for money, functionality for the money although not as "refined " as a higher quality knife for the price.

Good quality, good price. Got this for my mom who has small hands but ended up spending some time with it. Personally, I'm a bit short for what I'm used to, but I won't deduct stars for that as it's a preference. Overall it's well built, full stock, decent steel (holds up well, doesn't rust too easily, but beware - it's carbon steel so towel dry after use!) and is a good weight. I had to complain a bit, the blade could go a little further, the guard is a bit thick. It's well built, but definitely not as refined or slick as a more expensive knife. but on the other hand that's why it's cheap and that's why I say it's still cheap, the functionality is still there.

Pros
  • Not only usable for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Too blunt
