Review on 🧽 3 Pack of Scotch Brite Copper Coated Scouring Pads by Bishop Richter

My local store didn't have the steel scrubbers that I usually buy so I decided to try these Scotch-Brite copper scrubbers because I thought they were copper and made of Scotch-Brite that they would be an excellent product. I've used one of these 5-6 times and each time it leaves behind annoying black/brown stains that look like dirt in the sink or pan being cleaned (see photo). What you see in the photos is not leftover food, but debris that is constantly detaching from the copper backing. The steel scrubbers I've used for years have never done this, and they cost a little less. While these copper scrubbers get stuck in the pan, they're much tougher than steel scrubbers, making cleaning hard-to-reach areas more difficult. Also note that these pads are not actually copper but are "copper plated" which may be part of the problem of leaving dirty stains in the sink after use. Therefore I cannot recommend this product and will use steel scrubbers.
