Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Enhance Your Culinary Experience with Case Household Cutlery Knives: High-Quality Blades for Every Recipe by Alicia Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

PERFECT PERFECT FOR CREATION

I used to have two of these knives but didn't know what they were called. The first appeared in a Ginsu knife set I bought over 25 years ago and quickly became my favorite knife in the set. The blade broke after many years and Ginsu true to their word of "lifetime guarantee" sent me a replacement, albeit more fragile than the one I had and that also broke in a much shorter time. Rather than trying to find another flimsy replacement I checked out Revain and found this knife and I really like it. A solid blade with a full shank in a hardwood handle, it was a world apart from the cheap versions I've had before. I think some Revain reviewers give unfair reviews about products that they don't understand their true purpose. For example, one reviewer slammed the beautiful stainless steel skillet for not being big enough to cook chili, even though the skillet wasn't actually designed for that; It was designed for making sauces and did a great job. Another reviewer writing about this knife complained that it lacked "weight," but this is not an all-purpose chef's knife; This is a paring knife for tasks like slicing tomatoes and other vegetables, and it excels at that. Like I said, it's a lot more "weight" than previous paring knives I've had and I don't expect to have to replace this one for long, if ever. I would suggest smearing the handle with some mineral oil to keep it smooth. It was definitely worth the price and I highly recommend it.
